Brighton Marina is a popular venue for anglers. The marina breakwaters provide excellent fishing. Large bass and mullet are often recorded here providing their own form of challenge along with plenty of mackerel.
Bream, gar, wrasse, pollack, sole, plaice and dogfish are just a few of the species caught from the boats in the summer with winter Cod caught regularly.
The breakwaters are open all year round 24 hours subject to weather conditions.
There are 9 charter boats (see panel below ) based in the Marina plus space for mooring your own boat (more details click here).

A ticket is valid for a minimum of 8 hours
A 6-6 session being the maximum of 12 hours
Adults £3.00 a rod or £5.00 for 2 rods pp
Juniors £2.00 a rod or £3.00 for 2 rods pp Seniors £2.00 a rod or £3.00 for 2 rods pp
Fishing permits are issued on the breakwater by the Fishing Wardens.
