  • ‘Warty’ weighs in at a new Wylands complex record!

On Sunday 22nd September, new season ticket holder David Harland caught the largest fish at Wylands International Angling Centre ever recorded! The St Leonards based angler was fishing on the legendary Kell Lake for only his 2nd time and managed to persuade the orange coloured Mirror Carp during daylight hours. Fishing with Mainline Cell boilies cast to the far bank, and after a 20 minute battle, David finally landed Warty who weighed in at a staggering 36lb 2oz. The weight was independently witnessed and after signing up for a season ticket he said it was money well spent! On the first visit to the lake he fished with his friend Dan Brazier who managed to catch 6 Carp ranging between 15 and 27lb. David was very pleased to tell Dan that his catch surpassed his largest of the previous session. Well done David!
